Is it cheaper to pay Copart with a secured method?
Yes. Wire transfer, debit card, cash and cashier’s checks get the lower buyer fee. At $5,000, paying with an unsecured method such as a credit card costs $250.00 more.
Does a salvage title change the fees?
Yes. Non-clean titles have their own buyer fee and online bid fee tables and a higher gate fee. At $5,000 the fees are $1,010.00 instead of $958.00.
Is a pre-bid cheaper than bidding live?
